Once a programmer always a programmer, they say.
And when a programmer is bored and has nothing better to do? He plays around with, well, just about everything and comes up with something, uh, interesting. Useless though it seems.
In case you're wondering, what I'm talking about is there on your right -- or left. Oh, sure, go ahead and help yourself, don't be shy. With our Independence Day just around the corner, I figured what the heck, might as well go patriotic. After all, people fly -- hang, in case of SG -- flags at their homes and this is my home.
Thanx to Mr. Bison, who notified me about the "missing" CSS. Apparently the header has to be "text/css" for Mozilla, whereas IE is more forgiving and accepts "text/html" as well.
I used to keep lots of name cards given to me by people. (Well, still do, but I would have to dig deep to unearth them now, what with all the boxes. I tell you, don't move houses too often if you can help it.) And once a while I would go through them for maybe, just maybe, a few can be thrown away. Unlike bytes, name cards might accumulate tons. Of course, more often than not I ended up getting rid of none.
Because as I went through those cards, I seemed to always find memories in them. This card belonged to an ex-boss who had been kind enough to give me a raise -- a rarity. This card was given to me by an insurance agent with a pretty smile. This card was from a friend who days later resigned -- and thus giving his name cards away. And so on and so forth.
Now, this might sound unrelated, but yesterday I browsed through my friends' profiles on Friendster. And boy, just like name cards, those profiles brought back memories. An old friend from SD who shared my passion for Spidey. An ex-colleague whom I used to spend sleepless nights -- working, honest -- with. High school friends whose works I always copied during exams -- keep this between us, K. A guy -- yeah, too bad -- whom I shared a bed with for more than a year. The guy who introduced me to blogs. And so on and so forth.
BTW, that Ronald and Amanda case seems big, huh? Well, doesn't matter, it did keep politics away from our mailing list -- albeit for a few minutes only.
Update: just noticed that their profiles were no longer available on Friendster. <conspiracy theorist>Someone covering something? Hmm...</conspiracy theorist>
Friends. How I thank thee for all the memories. Only a handful of memories, I said? I take it back.

Pas ngga nongol css nya di mozilla tadi malem, ngirim message ke elu, terus gue liat sourcenya malah tambah bingung karena css nya di comment. Dan gue gak liat kalo ada cgi ganti template. Kirain cuma filenya ilang, ternyata new feature. Sekarang udah berkibar di mozilla, Merdeka !
